12/02/08 — World TB Day Slogan 2008: I am stopping TB - World TB Day is on the 24th March 2008. This year's slogan is "I Am Stopping TB". However it is more than slogan.It is the start of a two-year campaign that belongs to people everywhere who are doing their part to Stop TB.
27/01/08 — Coping with TB by Getting Involved - After arriving in Norway, Ugandan Benjamin Ocaya (27) was diagnosed with MDR-TB. He has been working with LHL (The Norwegian Heart and Lung Patient Organisation) and is currently involved in a health communication project where one of the activities is to produce booklets on TB, made by and for TB patients and their family, in close co-operation with health personnel.
21/01/08 — TBSP Update -There have been lots of changes at the project over the past couple of months. We have been working to change the technology that drives the website enabling us to now manage and update web content ourselves without the help and cost of a webmaster.
05/11/07 — Two new E-booklets launched at Union conference in Cape Town - TBSP has launched two new self-help E-booklets at the International Union Against Tuberculosis and Lung Disease (IUATLD) conference in Cape Town. The booklets have been developed in association with the global Stop TB Partnership's ACSM working group.
23/10/07 — Berlin Declaration Signed by 49 Countries Across the European Region -Representatives of 49 countries across the European region attended a high level ministerial meeting in Berlin on the 22nd October 2007.
11/09/07 — Have Your Say in the Editorial Process to Draft the 'Offer of Partnership' to the Health Ministers of the European Region - 22 October 2007, the WHO EURO office will hold a Ministerial Forum in Berlin entitled 'All Against TB' which will announce new political and financial commitments to combat the disease.
28/08/07 — Call for Nominations - Two Seats on the Executive Committee, Stop TB Partnership for Europe - Despite being curable, TB continues to kill nearly 2 million people a year. Globally TB-HIV and Multi-Drug Resistant Tuberculosis (MDR) are two of the most serious challenges confronting TB control efforts.
30/07/07 — It's Good to Talk: The ICN's TB Patient Talk Forum - TBSP anounces a new function available on the this website. TB Patient Talk is an online forum run and moderated by the International Council of Nurses.
13/06/07 — Eli Lilly recognized for their role in the battle against MDR-TB - Lilly's pioneering MDR-TB Partnership began in 2003, when the company dedicated $70 million in funding to support a multi pronged strategy to increase the supply and availability of effective drugs for treating the comlex and life threatening disease.
22/05/07 — Tuberculosis: fighting an old disease through new approaches - Representatives of 50 European Red Cross and Red Crescent Societies, gathered in Istanbul for a regional conference, heard a vibrant plea for reviving real communication between health care workers and tuberculosis patients to ensure treatment completion.
17/05/07 — Only a short time remaining to apply for the Challenge Facility for Civil Society (CFCS) - The CFCS is a mechanism to provide financial support to small groups of civil society organizations and for funding advocacy and social mobilization activities at the grass roots level. It is targeted at civil society groups that are seeking to shape policy-making at local and national levels.
26/03/07 — TB Survival Project asks Canada to sustain funding to the Global Drug Facility - On a visit to the Canadian Parliament in Ottawa organized by RESULTS CANADA, TBSP's Paul Thorn praised Canada for its past contributions to the Global Drug Facility (GDF).
22/03/07 — The TB Survival Project supports the theme for this year's World TB Day - "TB Anywhere is TB Everywhere". Whilst TB exists anywhere in the world, there is a collective responsibility that touches everyone.
19/01/07 — TB Survival Project launches a new writing competition: win a shiny new digital camera! World TB day 2007 is on March 24th. To mark the occassion the TB Survival Project is launching a new writing competition.

03/11/06 — New figures released by the UK's Health Protection Agency show dramatic rise of TB Cases of Tuberculosis (TB) in England, Wales and Northern Ireland have increased by 10.8% from 7,321 cases reported in 2004 to 8,113 in 2005 according to new figures released by the Health Protection Agency.
02/11/06 — Zambian patient TB/HIV activist is recognised as joint first participant of the Kochon Prize - TB/HIV activist Winston Zulu has been jointly awarded the first Kochon Prize with Indian Deputy Director of TB.

01/11/07 — Launch of new fund for civil society Marcos Espinal, Executive Secretary of the Stop TB Partnership, speaking in Paris has announced the launch of a new fund called the "Challenge Fund for Civil Society" (CFCS).
