STOP TB - WRITE NOW - and claim your free book!

21/09/06 - Between now and the 21st October 2006 we are giving away a FREE copy of The Tuberculosis Survival Handbook to everyone who writes and sends in their own personal story and experience of having TB/MDR-TB for publication on this website.

Literature is scattered with many great writers such as Keats, Katherine Mansfield, the Bronte Sisters, George Orwell and D.H. Lawrence among others. They were inspired to write by their own expeience of having TB. This is your chance to get creative too! Send in your story, up to 1000 words long and see it published here online. You might want to think about how you felt when you were diagnosed with TB/MDR-TB, what the treatment was like and how the disease affected your life?

All you need to do is click on the "Leave Stories" button in the left-hand column and email your story to the editor. Here are a points about leaving stories and how to claim your FREE book.

  1. Please clearly state that you are happy to have your story published online.
  2. Your name will not appear on your story, only your initials to maintain annonymity, unless you state otherwise.
  3. If you would like to claim your FREE book then also leave your address when you email the story to us. Your details will be destroyed after the book has been sent. We will send the book to you wherever you are in the world.
  4. REMEMBER - the deadline for submissions is 21st October 2006.
